Jack is locally based ( Croftdown Road ) who, with his team, has recently carried out various painting, decorating and general repairs jobs on my house in Bromwich Avenue - painting the outside, installation of a new garden path, laying new laminate floors in two bedrooms, and decorating them, new doors on our kitchen units, and redecoration + general repairs on both bathrooms. His prices are very reasonable, and his standards are high. Being locally based is a plus - we were able to schedule these various jobs at times suiting us both. I strongly recommend him. If you want double-glazed timber windows bespoke for you, which can get planning permission, with more glass and less wood (to let more light through), I recommend Simon at SPS Timber Windows. Since 2012 Mr Argent has done the following work for me: installation and service of a Megaflow hot water cylinder, installation of a Honeywell programmable room thermostat and replacement of a faulty pressure expansion vessel. He is reliable, turns up when agreed, courteous and clean. The work done is technical so I am in no position to judge it but things seem to work. OA009 20190610 |

I'd like to recommend a joiner (and also general refurbishment company) who we employed to restore the staircase (fit new spindles and handrail) at my mum-in-laws house in Bromwich Avenue. The work was of very high standard and he was immaculately tidy and thoughful - covering all carpets and ensuring there were no trip hazards throughout the work. BA007 0619 |

FAIRWEATHER LANDSCAPES I can confirm that they worked conscientiously arriving at 8.00am prompt and working until 4pm with short break for lunch. The work done was in my opinion excellent and can be inspected if you so wish. They have worked previously for a neighbour on Highgate West Hill, from whom I took a reference, and I believe a small number of other people on the estate.
